70 degree Winter Day!

In typical North Carolina fashion, we are having this random 70 degree day today. And we are thrilled and making the most of it!

A morning walk...

A visit to the park...

And then we got home and it was just too nice to be inside soooooo we ate lunch outside too. Isaac loved this I think. All through out his lunch he kept giving spontaneous hugs to Lydia and I. So sweet ;) 

And Isaac happily ate the rest of my salad. I guess salad from mom's plate with mom's fork seems tastier than salad on your own plate.

Girls Night

Lydia and I got to have a very fun night at a hotel. Just the girls. No boys ;) We played in the pool. Watched tv shows. Played puzzles. Had a chocolate buffet in the room. Read books. Played in the pool more. Got to eat breakfast in purple chairs. Stayed up way late (11 PM) and were awake by 6AM. It was a fun night though! Lydia only thanked me 1000 times (maybe more!) and giggled all night long.

Last Week

Bird Feeder Time :) 

We tucked our bird feeder in between tree branches. The birds enjoyed the treat next to their house ;) 

Some times you are riding a toy you are too big for and then fall into a drain. And then your mom takes a picture of your sad moment before helping you. I promise I did help her and taking a picture took seconds. 

Well, two pictures - the first was blurry ;) 

One day I lost Lydia but had a sweet sheep that followed me home :) 

Isaac can ride around on Dad's shoulders (and can touch the lights...). 

Only a Little Literal

The instructions on this worksheet are "Draw an A Picture". Lydia and I talked about some A objects. She named quite a few. I went to lay Isaac down for a nap and I came back downstairs to a delighted little girl who "drew an A picture". HAHA :) We love her cuteness!
