| Crucified Angel... |
All last week, we talked with Lydia about the Easter story. Jesus died on the cross for us. And then the angel told everybody "He is alive". Paraphrased greatly but I thought that the toddler was understanding the basic story.
AND then she started telling people the Easter story - Lydia style.
"Jesus dead" "Angel alive and FLY". And to that she would flap her arms and FLY!
This year - Lydia got the concept of Jesus dying and in the coming months we will hopefully start to understand that Jesus is alive too (but seriously all the pictures of sparkly angels and wings and flying like a butterfly what little girl would not be excited about those angels!).
