Swim Class!

The new highlight of Lydia's week (for the next four weeks!): SWIM CLASS!

Lydia talked about swim class all day long. Was thrilled to walk into the door for swim class and announce "Lydia is ready to swim"! While waiting for her class she jumped and pranced. Her enthusiasism was great.

Swim class started and Lydia went right to her swim teacher. Happily learned how to blow the birthday candles out. Loved kicking. Giggled and waved to me as she was learning to use her arms.

At one point she wasn't listening and got off the ledge. She was able to keep herself from drowning. The best skill ever! She did choose to listen the remainder of the class (and we talked afterwards about listening!).

Lydia was not a fan of floating on her back. Infact she screamed and was quite miserable about floating on her back. But for being two I think she did pretty well!
