Blueberries!

Lydia adores blueberries and this year has discovered that most of her favorite foods she could grow in her yard (I think her vision is to be able to play outside, eat snacks, and never have to come inside!). Lydia did her research and learned all about blueberries and how to grow them.

We found some very pitiful looking blueberry bushes on the clearance rack at Home Depot and Lowes. So every family who has never had success growing anything should start their garden off the clearance rack, right???

Lydia also learned that blueberry bushes grow best (and taste sweeter) when cross pollinated. It was important to her to have MANY bushes.
