Mom and Isaac Morning

When you are too little for Vacation Bible School, you get a morning with Mom! One on one time is pretty awesome. 

Isaac gloated in his victory and wore his winter hat sideways while we ran a errand (oh he was the talk of the building!). 

 When we got home he helped me make a birthday cake. He LOVED that idea. Baking with mom and he did not have to share. It is the simple things. He even quit watching the construction to join me!

But do not fear, after clean clothes and another play session with Mom he was back to standing at various windows watching the construction.

All the excitement made a little boy fall asleep in the car and then transfer to the stroller AND sleep through a very loud music performance at Lydia's VBS. Impressive uh?
