More Birthday Fun

I thought we had simplified birthdays greatly at our house. But maybe not ;) Anyway, another birthday celebration! With the cousins (big big big excitement as Lydia has really missed her cousins at birthday time).

Our birthday loving girl has been dreaming about her birthday for 364 days now. (I think she enjoyed her four year old birthday and was not planning turning five yet!). 

Lydia got to have a friend playdate/party at a park. She wanted to invite everybody she has ever met and we moved the celebration to a weekday morning at a park. Just simpler ;) 

She also has some sweet friends who gave her a birthday present. 

She also had an impromptu 5 year old photo shoot wearing a special dress (yes, black velvet on a 100 degree day - the things a girl does for fashion!).

Happy Birthday Lydia!

Lydia Turns Four! It is hard to believe she is that old! She wanted a Robot Tea Party this year and I love her imagination so we had a Robot Tea Party!

Her Aunts, Uncles, and Great Grandparents from far away sent her lots of fun gifts. She loved getting mail and even let me take her picture (seriously the child hates having her picture taken right now!).

Lydia got a very special baby from Grandma and Pappaw (and Mom and Dad). 

Lydia and I made Robots for party favors. 

She loved the back pack from Aunt Holly (and still wears in daily!).

The backpack can also be an Ergo for the babies...
