We have gotten into a snack rut at our house. A big rut. Goldfish, teddy grahams, and raisins. Occasionally graham crackers. But pretty much Goldfish, teddy grahams, and raisins.
This weekend I realized we were down to Teddy Grahams in the pantry and I took Lydia shopping in my favorite place. The basement! Oh, my. The child was delighted with all the new snacks at her finger tips. Animal cookies. Cocoa. Pickles. Soup. Corn. And on and on her excitement went. And then the fact that she could pick out a special snack made this adventure all the more exciting.
She chose animal crackers and then proceeded to carry them around the remainder of the day. A few pictures of the adventures that the animal crackers got to go on!
