Happy Thanksgiving!

This is Lydia's Thankful Hat she made at MOPS. I will be honest, I picked her up from MOPS with an unhappy Isaac and we got to the car and I totally forgot to look at her Thankful Hat. The next day we got in the car and she wanted her feathers AND then I read her thankful feathers:

  1. Mommy and Daddy (this is good - she should be thankful for us!)
  2. The color pink (oh, so sweet! A neat memory.)
  3. Sister
And number 3 was worth questioning.

DeAnna: Lydia, I am so glad you are thankful for being a sister. You are a great BIG sister. What do you like about being a sister?
Lydia: NO Mom. (huge smile now!). I want a sister!!!!!

And on that note we took her little BROTHER to the doctor. It is a good thing they are both cute and adorable.

Happy Thanksgiving!

From One Turkey to Another!

Lydia has enjoyed being an "Indian Princess" ALLOT! I thought that she might enjoy making an Indian headband (and seriously, isn't that just a childhood tradition???) - like is the understatement of the year!

The Indian Princess Played Outside...

In her playhouse...

In the Leaves....

She did not sleep in her feathers but the first thing she did the next morning was put the feathers right back on!

The Indian Princess went to Story Time.

Starbucks (no clue what she was doing with her tongue!)

Continued decorating her feathers with all sorts of random decorations.

Eventually the Indian Princess' feathers just fell apart (really construction paper just doesn't last thaaaaaattttt long!).

Little People Thanksgiving

Lydia is currently obsessed with Little People. She has ignored them for a long time but over the last month the Little People ROCK. (They ROCK in Mom's world because Lydia doesn't like anybody to play Little People with her!).

I saw the Thanksgiving Little People set and knew that Lydia would enjoy that!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We hope that during the holidays you do not feel the need to run and hide (crying!) from your family. If you do feel the need to run away crying, I hope your family does not chase you with a camera laughing :) Happy Thanksgiving!
