Lydia's Week

Lydia was all about the Letter L, lions, and PLAYING!!!!!!

Wow, Lydia is doing her own hair lately. I go with it most days but after awhile she just needs mom to brush her hair!

Lydia's project at MOPS. She is praying for different friends and I thought that was cute.

Drawing Lions!

Lydia's photo shoot - DeAnna can also draw lions.

Lydia's Week

Lydia and I went to the Dollar Store last week and bought random items to make "sensory boxes". Lydia played with these very special boxes ALL week long. Over and over and over. Every time I looked up she was back in the kitchen getting out a her goodies. Measuring. Pouring. Scooping. Sorting. Counting. Making patterns. The world was her oyster and she loved this fun!

A spontaneous rendition of ABC's led to needing her ABC's written on the mirror which led to needing a microphone which ended with "Story time teacher Lydia" leading the class in music. Ever read "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie"? Welcome to my world!

Making play-doh. Sweet idea. And then Dad walked in the door and Lydia wanted to play with Dad and when we came back to Play-doh creation it was a bust. So ummmm, good idea DeAnna!

Lydia's Projects

Lydia decided to get us in the Christmas spirit last week.

Rudolph hats and a photo shoot!

Mary and Joseph 2013 style includes a bus and playground FYI :)

"I can eat string cheese".

Special date with mom

Painting

Playing with Rocks!

Terrible about taking pictures right now. Lydia had an obsession with her name last week, making picture frames, playing Hullabaloo, stamping, and I am sure there was more. She is a busy gal!

Lydia's Projects

Lydia, as always, was a busy bee last week. She decided to get into the Christmas spirit (comical since her parents are not in the Christmas spirit yet!).

Gingerbread House Building (a foam version that one can take many breaks if needed!)

Cuteness!

Lydia contemplated enjoying letter "I" activities. But not really her thing last week!

Now you see me and now you don't!

I looked at the calendar and realized if we were going to do anything for cousins, then we needed to get to it! So we made spoons for hot chocolate. Lydia thought this was a great activity. So many hugs for mom ;)

"We can really dip chocolate spoons into hot chocolate???"

Happiness! I think we were both enjoying Isaac taking a nice nap so we could have time together (and next year we will enjoy Isaac joining us!).

No picture shoot is complete at our house without making mad giggly faces.

And more Christmas crafts. Lydia and a good friend - the perfect Christmas ornament!

Lydia was sooooo excited last week about Bible study. She got to sing for "all the mommies" and was dressed and practicing her songs by 8am. And ofcourse she remembered as we were getting ready to walk out the door that she had not done her "homework" so a quick pause for homework.

Lydia was very cute during her big performanc. She decided to sit on the stage and talk to a lady who was "catching" little ones who got to close to the edge. I don't think Lydia enjoys singing for an audience but she really enjoys cuddles and talking ;)
