Our Week

Some weeks it is nice to find sweet notes on my chocolate. (Let's face it, I usually eat chocolate because somebody in the house is doing more than their fair share of crying!).

Isaac learned about dogs this week in his "school". So we made puppy chow. Makes perfect sense right?

And Lydia is all about supporting her brother in his education.

We ended up having a couple cloudy (i.e. cooler!) days. It was a gift from God :)

Lydia and I decided anybody can practice their spelling words on paper. She practiced her spelling words in shaving cream! Whoohoo!!!!!!

Isaac needed new underwear. Don't ask. He just did! SO I took him to the store by himself to pick out new underwear. It takes a self confident boy to run through the store chanting "I need big boy underwear".

He surveyed all his options and Thomas the Train won the contest.

The random strangers are the next aisle apparently needed to know he had picked out his underwear. However, we were not quiet in our choosing process so they knew the WHOLE story and seemed very excited for him. Good thing he is still in the baby department for his underwear needs ;)

The cashier gave the big boy his underwear AND some stickers. All big boys love stickers.

Well, Kids... Part III

We did stuff in July too!

Isaac continued to stalk our neighbor when he mows his grass...

Isaac, Lydia, and Mom went out for icecream one night!

Still too much screen time so attempting to make it more educational screen time.... (Whatever, mommy guilt - this made me feel better!).

We cuddled a baby allot...

Lydia mastered reading and reads all the time!

We forgot it was 4th of July but remembered before bedtime and did sparklers!

More pool trips... Adalynn sleeps better in the pool in a bathing suit to keep her cool.

We celebrated Pappaw's Birthday:

We celebrated Dad's birthday too but forgot to take pictures apparently...

Then there was that day when mom needed a mini break and slipped upstairs to feed Adalynn. Big kids followed though!

Isaac earned a tow truck for putting his poop in the potty...

We attempted to take a picture of all 3 kids...

Discovered taking a picture of the newborn is actually easier...

The good news - July is almost over and we have survived!
