Playing in the Leaves

We decided to hit the high spots regarding the leaves (i.e. the path to the playground and to the neighbor's house - little feet kept slipping on weit leaves!). Lydia was trying to teach Isaac how to jump in the leaves. He did not seem to really enjoy the activity all that much but Lydia had a wonderful time!

I love Lydia's enthusiasm and passion for everything in life :)

One Sick Boy

Those pictures sum our weekend up perfectly... Oh well!

Isaac has started telling me he is wet, when he needs to poop, that he has pooped, taking his diaper off, etc... It is time to learn to use the potty!

Isaac has picked out underwear and his treat (jellybeans!) and we are starting this journey Monday. Gotta build the anticipation up ;)

Lydia would like it to be known that the stores sell paper underwear too and that looks much less messy.

As far as building up anticipation, the boy is excited! He carries around his underwear all day "big boy Monday" he says.

P.S. Lydia set down her hat and Isaac decided to wear the hat. Lydia cried which made Isaac all the more determined to make the pink hat HIS for an hour.
