Our Week!

Last week Lydia was in VBS (which she loved!!!!). Isaac enjoyed being an only child for 2ish hours every day - which he lived it up and was totally unable to nap independently. Whatever - he got rocked and loved every single minute!

Lydia ready to go to VBS one morning.

Lydia sold her great big huge kitchen that took up the entire basement (not really - seemed like it though!). She got her new one and I spent way too many hours assembling this silly kitchen with a million pieces!

Cow Appreciation Day! These little cows were quite happy to move on to greener pastures (i.e. CHICK-FIL-A for breakfast!).

Isaac kept his spots on his back in cow storage!

Lydia and her friend enjoyed their breakfast but really were just there for the cow!

Happy Birthday James!

Sometimes some outfits just need a picture to be remembered by...

Yep, she is ALL that and more!

Farmer Lydia was invited to a neighbors house to pick some produce and then I let her do her own veggie cutting.

Isaac's 9 month check up at the doctor. He and the paper had a battle. It was a close score but Isaac defeated the paper by 3 points ;)

Happy Birthday Lydia!

Lydia Turns Four! It is hard to believe she is that old! She wanted a Robot Tea Party this year and I love her imagination so we had a Robot Tea Party!

Her Aunts, Uncles, and Great Grandparents from far away sent her lots of fun gifts. She loved getting mail and even let me take her picture (seriously the child hates having her picture taken right now!).

Lydia got a very special baby from Grandma and Pappaw (and Mom and Dad).

Lydia and I made Robots for party favors.

She loved the back pack from Aunt Holly (and still wears in daily!).

The backpack can also be an Ergo for the babies...

I will get party pictures up one day!

Our Week

Isaac is wanting badly to chase Lydia. REALLY REALLY REALLY badly. To the point that after a very whiny and little sleep weekend James and I looked at each other and said "has he so much as touched a toy this weekend???". I pulled out some new toys for him and he played for a few brief minutes:

And was even happy about it:

And then right back to obsessing about crawling. The million dollar question - is he crawling? And that I can't answer. When I am playing with him and on the floor no. When I go to the bathroom he is never where I have left him. But I have no clue how he is getting from point A to point B (he is a good scooter so he may just be getting faster at scooting on his bottom!). And toys are getting spread out really really really well. I now have to walk around the room to clean up Isaac's toys at night. Maybe that means he is crawling and maybe that means he has perfected his throwing skills!

James bought himself a birthday present. A "creeper" to creep under cars. To me creeping under cars sounds scary but to James creeping under a certain Saturn to find the exhaust leak sounds exciting. Go figure! The kids did enjoy "creeping" through the house ;)

And once again Isaac is attempting to crawl and whining about it his lack of movement. See NO toys!

Lydia LOVES hugging Isaac. Allot. She is super sweet and loving to him (well, to all of us!).

We needed to sent pictures to Dad: Isaac used his table manners.

Lydia used her table manners...

DeAnna made fun and funky pillows for the basement. We needed some fun and funky less tan in the room where we spend all day every day!
