Happy Thanksgiving!

Lydia wrote a book about Thanksgiving. And I thought it was cute so...

Copyright 2014 (haha!)

The turkey slides out the door.

The milkman comes in... And then the people knock on the door.

Dora and her mom answer the door.

Knock the Noggins had the turkey in his hand.

And he stayed for Thanksgiving dinner.

They ate the turkey and Knock the Noggins.

We then laminated the book and read the book to Dad and Isaac.

A 70 degree Day!

Life just seems easier when the windows open and the sun is up. After our week of cold and being inside, we enjoyed the gift of a sorta sunny and warm day!

Yep, milk in a cup makes us all this happy! And yes, I think we were dressed and eating breakfast before the sun again :(

I am trying to hold Lydia off from Christmas crafting until after Thanksgiving - it is the principle! So she went for making another fall tree.

Lydia has almost finished her preschool workbook. She is only a little bit excited ;)

The joys of not being the first child, sometimes you are just crawling through the yard and BOOM there is the coolest toy that you have ever seen!

Last year (or maybe two years ago), Grandma gave Lydia these awesome pink boots. Lydia wore the pink boots EVERYWHERE. Four year olds are slightly self centered but Lydia needed Grandma to give her some pink boots. Amazon and I decided glitter boots were equal to pink boots.

Babies, babies, babies. We love baby dolls at our house (allot!).

I Got Dressed!

Lydia this spring could get herself dressed and make her bed with just a bit of help. It was WONDERFUL! This summer Lydia forgot how to do this. And let's just say getting dressed has been a "fun time" at our house for many many many months.

With all that said, Lydia got herself dressed and made her bed. It was worth a photo shoot and dance party :)

Paint!

Yes, we were painting at 7:15 one morning. I did not mean to start a painting project at 7:15 in the morning but I mentioned that we could paint later in the day and well, they both like to paint. And when people ask nicely we can totally paint before breakfast :) Oh yes, I also let them paint with their blocks. Paint is washable!

Isaac graduated to painting with a smock on. Lydia has been painting inside, on the table, without a smock for YEARS. Isaac is making me consider finding old newspaper to line the carpet with and he graduated to painting with a smock.

Lydia precisely paints straight rows with her blocks. The difference 3 years makes ;)

Isaac giggled the majority of paint time!

Cold Days!

I See YOU!

Oh, you all have been teaching me sign language because I can communicate with you rather than whining at you. Gotcha. I will sign and you can give me MORE food :)

Yes, I wanted outside. No, I do not want to be cold. FIX IT NOW MOM!!!!!!!!!

A Fun Weekend

Now that Isaac is getting older both kids really enjoy Marbles. So we went again this weekend (not to mention it was a very cold weekend again!).

Yes, Lydia spent a good chunk of time sitting in a dog house!

Isaac got a bit overwhelmed and enjoyed some time in his chariot!

And sometimes every parent feels like this in the Children's Museum!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Sorry Isaac it is a family tradition...

Yep, embrace the paper feathers! They will chase you around every November ;)

Issac is finally learning to cruise (yes, on his first birthday he would pull up, get his treasure, and then sit down.) So we are happy to see him taking steps.

Lydia has a new passion for puzzles!

Airplane rides are a favorite Isaac and Dad game! Really favorite :)
