Labor Day Weekend

Some times you need a "do nothing holiday". And that is exactly what we did this Labor Day!

Isaac learned to play fetch (yes, we should not treat our son like a dog but he thinks the game is hilarious and will giggle the entire time to retrieve the ball and then rolls the ball back his "person", sits down, and claps while waiting to repeat. So yes, we treat our son like a dog and he likes it!).

Lydia and James have been working on building a robot and finished it (I think James may have done more of the robot building but Lydia thoroughly enjoyed the one on one time with her Dad!). Lydia loves her robot and she asks to play with it often.

Robots like Trios too apparently!

Isaac would like a Robot to destroy.

James is SO excited about the robot too!

Isaac would love to touch the very fragile robot.

Isaac was cutting many teeth and fought sleep like a champ. He finally fell asleep one afternoon in my arms. I didn't have the heart to move him!

Isaac has been wanting to bike ride like Lydia and he got a trike. He is in boy heaven!

Isaac was happily playing with Mom and then he saw the neighbor mowing his grass. Let's just say Mom was forgotten quickly!
And after a calm weekend we hit story time bright and early Tuesday morning! These kids LOVE story time :) Even Isaac was dancing with the big kids (he is a big kid - just ask him!).
